NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer Expeditions
- Client Name Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration / NOAA Office of Exploration and Research
From February 2017 until December 2021, I worked for the Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration onboard the NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer on twelve different ROV expeditions (each lasting 30 days or more). During these expeditions I was a photographer, camera operator, video producer, and video editor. In addition to controlling ROV video cameras during live broadcasts and managing live video content during deep-sea dives, I produced and edited over 40 short videos about the expeditions’ recent discoveries, and about ocean exploration as a whole. I have made several of these videos available below. To view more of my videos from the Okeanos Explorer, please email me at: enarrow AT gmail.com
A few examples of the short videos I have produced include:
- “Million Mounds: Windows to the Deep 2021”
- “Bigfin Squid: Windows to the Deep 2021”
- “Major Spirals: 2021 North Atlantic Stepping Stones”
- “Architects of the Deep: Gulf of Mexico 2017”
- “Exploring the Deep Waters of American Samoa”
- “Sea Toad: Deepwater Wonders of Wake”
- “Armored Searobin: 2017 American Samoa”
- “Venus Flytrap Anemone: 2017 American Samoa”
